The hearth is traditionally the focus of a room. It is commonly framed and surmounted by a wide array of elements. The application of all these various elements whether simple or ornate is what becomes a mantel, and here is born the world of possibilities to create the most vibrant and alive element of a home.

Characters Americana
This eleven foot Cherry wood beam has been the subject of a great deal of discussion over the years as to what would do such a magnificent piece of wood justice. Finally, we decided on a little army of 19th century American characters originating from tobacco shop statues and tavern signs as well as ship carvings and decorations. 150 hours later, here it is.
